"I thought it was a little classless how Coach Brown was begging for votes after the (Texas A&M) game. I think a team's record and the way you play should speak for itself, and you shouldn't have to complain about the BCS system. Coach Tedford isn't going to, although he's frustrated just like we are. I think we're a bigger team, classier than that."
Cal QB Aaron Rodgers.
Uhm, except Texas lost votes after the A&M game, so it clearly wasn't a deal breaker for Cal.
Next time, try to be a little more impressive when you're playing a school on the level of USM.......
Dumbass goes on:
As for coach Jeff Tedford's decision to pass on the limited chance to run up the score Saturday night by having Rodgers take a knee on the game's final play, Rodgers was equally pointed.
"Would Bob Stoops (of Oklahoma) or Mack Brown have gone for the score there?" Rodgers asked. "Yes. But coach Tedford is a classy guy."

lol, isnt cal ahead of texas in both human polls? therefore its the computers that ranked texas higher, not what mack brown said. that guys classless for saying that. get in a better conference and be ranked the same..

Tedford was also probably thinking about the possibility of trying to run it up and failing.

You could also say the same thing about the Texas Kansas game.

did Texas lose that game????
besides, voters look at the end of the season a whole lot more than the biggining or the middle. it really must suck for Cal fans or UT haters that Cal couldn't produce enough points from there "all mighty" QB Aaron Rodgers.

Don't be shy. We all know you're a Texas hater.
I don't hate them, but I sure don't like them.

Everyone is focusing on the last game, which is important, but look at the WHOLE season and how each team has played and who they have played.
The whole Cal has played USC and Texas has played OU is a moot point because both teams have a right to be ranked #1.
Texas has played all of these ranked teams:
- OU (Only TX loss)
- Missouri
- TT
- OSU
- A&M
Cal has played all of these ranked teams:
- USC (Only loss)
- Arizona State
Looks to me as if Texas had the harder schedule and prevailed better than Cal did.
Cal had a chance to run it up against Southern Miss and didn't. They shot themselves in the foot. Have fun in the Holiday Bowl Golden Bears ;)

I don't think the Golden Bears will have much fun in the Holiday bowl. They'll be crying even more after TTU exposes them for the weak Pac10 team that they are (atleast I hope so :) ).

This Cal team and everyone that is associated with them are nothing but a bunch of whinny puss'. On one of their message boards they are complaining about how we are a sub par team that doesn’t deserve to be in the same stadium as them and that they should boycott the H-Bowl to expose how inadequate the BCS system is.
I want to stomp a mud whole in these guys soooo bad....I hope my Nebraska/ OSU Tech team shows up to this game. If that happens I think that Cal is going to complain about a lot more!
I wish the game was a little closer so I could go to it. If I had the opportunity to go to the game I would buy a Bull Horn and play nothing but the air raid siren over and over again because we are going to give them an air show to the likes of which they have never seen!
GO TECH!
