Thanks for the comments guys.

Car ran pretty good that night. We put alot of fuel back in it so that i can keep it on pump gas. So the numbers were down just a little.

Combo:

2v built motor
Procharger
tkoII

The rest is basically simple stuff. Worked heads, stock intake, and fuel system.

Okay my head is getting so big i am looking at my monitor with my head cocked to the side because I cant lift it.

Thanks again for the comments. Its nice to hear them after all the time you put into it.

Alot of thanks goes to Manny and Jeremy at HPP Racing. Them two have been working on it it seems like NON STOP. I wasnt going to go out there last friday but after I got my ass handed to me by a friend in OK. I needed a confidence booster. To bad my usual confidence booster (WES) was not there :D

Grand we will run when the track is suitable for 2 lanes and not just one. Sorry but when I see a truck runniing high 9's get squirrley in a lane I'll be damn if I am going to run in it as I am sure you would be too.

Thats it for me this year. Have to many things to do before christmas. But after christmas I have some new things to add to the car. Have to get it ready by March for SpringBreak Shootout in FL.

I totally agree there was no way I was running in the right lane.

hell I almost lost it in the left lane on my last run.

I went to kenedale tonight and it was HUMID as hell and the track was super slippery because of all the condensation.

and I STILL did WAY better 60fts, and I did it with drag radials.

Denton flat SUCKED friday night.

Yeap, I saw that car too. Hard to miss he was parked right next to me. One of the largest blowers I have seen on a Mustang, noisy too.

It had hpp stickers on both quarter windows I believe.

Noone talked me into running my car, maybe next time I'll take it down the track.

I was there to watch a friend of a friend of a friend, run his Fox body, dual turbo. I gather he had some tuning issues.

No its an F1 and it makes 620ish i think... I heard 650, but that musta been a race gas tune, or a lie... It books it for sure, ran a mid 10 at FFW I believe...

Actually its an f1r and i am only making 580 to the wheels. It was up in the 600's until we saw that i was running a little lean on the top end so Manny and Jeremy put some fuel back into it. It is jetted for a 50 shot however until i get the lean thing straightened out I wont run it on the spray. It did run a 10.65@117 at ffw. that was the best 1/4 time so far. Friday night I was running 6.8-6.9 consistantly @100-102

what kind of fuel system are you running? i'm having to go to a kenne bell boost-a-pump, because my dual focus pumps aren't keeping up. do you have an 8-rib pulley setup or is it a 6-rib still, and what kind of boost are you running? sorry for all of the questions, but, aside from the fact that you have an F1R and i have a D1SC, we have somewhat similar combos.

ok, so he switched to a return system...i see. i'm going to see how far i can go with the return style system and a kenne bell bap...after that, i'm done. mine made 509hp on 8 psi, and i'm shooting for 12-14+psi, or whatever a 2.9 pulley on a D1SC will give me, and i'm done. this thing is already a monster at 3,000+ rpms (to me, anyway), so i really don't need much more power. it is fun to drive, though.:D

are you gonna put the BAP on the focus pumps? i have not heard good stories about that combo. KB recommend the BAP only on the cobra pumps.

i talked to one of the keene bell engineers about this, and he recommended that i replace the fuel pump module, and said that everything would be fine. i have thought about putting the cobra pumps back in, though...

i posted up a thread in the kenne bell tech section of modularfords.com...but it looks like they've installed the bap with the focus pumps, and it's worked well, according to this thread: http://www.modularfords.com/forums/showthread.php?t=7827
