I have a folder of excel spreadsheets on my destop that have to also be available on a shared network drive. I create quite a few of these a day, and the simple solution would be to save them directly to that drive, but it is sooo much quicker to save them to the desktop. Is there a way to have the folder on my desktop automatically mirror all of it's files on that network drive so that I don't have to move them over on a daily basis?

It was an easy fix, I just created a shortcut on my desktop to that Network drive. Saving to that shortcut is much quicker than digging all the way into the drive.

another option is to create a scheduled xcopy batch file that will compare the two folders and copy the changes.
Ive had to do the same for a paranoid CFO that worked off his local my documents folder and did that to get them out to the network to get them copied.
There is also resource kit tool called robocopy.
