Ok guys I haven't really looked into it much, but I figured I'd ask on here before I exert myself too much in research. For my computer I would like to buy an LCD monitor, but I would really like something larger than 21" monitors that I see all over the place for around $1000. Well I was thinking about buying a normal LCD television and hooking up my A/V to serial port cable that I bought long ago and found out regular televisions suck ass due to low resolution. So can anyone tell me what the difference between a LCD monitor vs. a LCD TV vs. a LCD TV/monitor is?
I really appreciate it and if I can go just buy a regular LCD TV and if it will work decently. I'm not into a huge amount of games, but I would like to use the monitor for both TV and monitor usage without having to sit so damn close to read all the computer stuff. Thanks.
