Miami will have a #1 draft pick and Williams next year. Maybe it was all a plan to suck this year, ala Houston/Olajuwan.

With his lifestyle and kids/Baby's mommas it was only a matter of time.

I'm a die hard Miami Dolphins fan and I just can't make up my mind about Ricky. He's a talented RB, but the man is a cancer. When I first heard about him leaving I was in shock, but I respected him cause he said it wasn't about the money and he wanted to concentrate on his family... then it came out that he was a pot head and from there it just became worse and worse. Now the entire team and the majority of the fans have lost all respect for him, he's a sell out and left the team in the worst position ever. The Dolphins where the winningest team in the last 3 decades until Ricky f'ed everyone and quit. If he wanted out, he should have been a man, completed his contract and kept his word to his fans and the team then he could have left and Miami would have been able to find a suitable replacement.
But then again if he came back the Fins would probably win some games... but right now I'd rather have the #1 overall pick.
Yep, he's a piece of shit.

Man, the Cowboys need to get into the Ricky Williams deal and steal him away. You've got Jones to back him up in case he gets hurt or flakes out. What do you really lose? 2nd round draft pick? Big fucking deal.

Drugs are bad, mkay! Ricky rejected the NFL's deal and doesn't want to play football anymore.

Its a typical case of: Yes I want the money.....no I don't want to work for it.

I wondered if ricky williams family thinks he is as a big of a dumbass as everyone else does. He could have played 3-4 years maybe, racked up a good supply of money and smoke the rest of his life away.
What a waste of talent.

Even if Miami had Ricky, they still wouldn't make the playoffs... One player can't do it all!

The thing about Ricky is...h.e doesn't need the money. He has a degree, and comes from big big money iirc.
the beard has got to go, though.
