Anyone have a high-speed polisher? I'm considering getting one, but would like to hear some preferences on model or manufacturer. What compound do you use with your polisher? Any tips on using it? Lemme know...

What compound do you use for polishing out swirl marks, and how exactly do you do it? I know you don't push it, and you wanna be careful not to burn the paint. Any tips?

i use finesse it by 3M for small scratches and such. mequire's also makes a swirl remover polish, but i've never used it. when i use my polisher i just go back and forth and keep it moving the whole time so not to burn the paint. hope this helps! :)

use the 3m swirl mark remover and wipe it on first with and towell and spread is out and the start buffing.; run buffer at a slight angle when buffing or polishing and then to remove the compoung keep the buffer flat and run about 2500 rpm

If you buy a new buffer dont get a 2 speed one because you will not be that happy with it. Get a variable speed buffer because they are much easier to use & you can adujust the speed to whatever your buffing or polishing needs are. They are a little more pricey but in the longrun you will be more happy with it.
By the way I use a SnapOn buffer & I love it.:D
