Henson looked pretty good against the Ravens, as did Julius Jones.
I hope they give Henson the start against Chicago on Thanksgiving.

i mean yeah it's nice he had a nice series after that nice fumble but, hook em your football knowledge can't be all that great to announce the henson era has begun when he complete's 6 passes against a ravens d that is up 27 points in the 4th quarter.

it's nice to have hope but you just amaze me with your opinions on things

it's pretty hard to not fumble when you can't take 3 steps without a huge maniac chasing after you. Henson did look pretty composed for his few passing attempts. Julius did a pretty damn good job against the Ravens

Did I canonize him, or grant him Staubach/Aikman status?
No...just a comment that the era of Henson has begun. It may not last long, but none the less, it has begun.

I think Henson will be around for a couple of years but the cowboys should still be on the look out for a good QB

I think I remember everyone calling for Ache-mans head his first year also. Henson will be just fine, he is every bit as good as Tom Brady. The only question is, can the Dallas front line give him the time he needs?

Well, ill agree that it was only a start but it but for what its worth, he looked pretty good. As for the first series when he fumbled the ball.....who wouldnt have in that situation? I mean letting a DT go unblocked? Thats just sad.

Also I was impressed with Julius Jones. Yeah he only averaged 2.7 yards a carry, but it was against Baltimore. If he breaks just one of those runs, his average is instantly 4.0. You want to know the stat that impressed me the most about him? 0 FUMBLES

Unlike Eddie George who had the ball TAKEN away from him on Monday night. Maybe Jeff Fisher was on to something when he got rid of ol' Eddie.

How can you say that when he has played for one quarter? not making too much sense to me.

Tennessee knew exactly what they were doing when they got rid of Eddie.

Playing Vinny anymore this season is absolutely pointless. The cowboys have to start finding out right now if Henson can help them next year.
If Parcells continues playing Testaverde, its because of pride and not wanting to admit the season is over.
I saw enough out of J. Jones to know he is already an upgrade over Eddie George.

I do think they need to play Henson, just because they have no chance to make the playoffs. If they had a chance they should start Vinnie, but they don't so play Henson.

Tom Brady once said in an interview with Dan Patrick that he thinks Henson will be a very good QB in the NFL and that he'll even be a better QB than him with his athletic ability and a stronger arm.

hmm, who knows. but, they'll never know unless they give him a chance. the cowboys do have a chance to get some good talent in this years draft with 2 first round picks.

too bad this draft doesn't have the players the last one did
