like it says who has one that i can take a look at? What I am trying to do is see if a motor from an 02-03 r1 will fit in a 00-01 frame or how close it is to fitting. If anyone can help or if someone knows more about this let me know. Thanks in advance.

i know that the difference between carb and fuel injection is really going to come into play here. double check all clearances before attempting this.

Yea thats the reason why id like to put the newer motor in mine. For the fuel injection. Cause i can still get a motor for a really good price. thats everything gauges wiring harness everything. soooooo...
