Who do ya'll feel is to blame about the Pacers/Pistons melay? Usually I don't side with anything Ron Artest does, but I can't blame him for what he did. Fans shouldn't be allowed to just throw shit at players without some consequences. Did you see the look on the guys face before he got knocked out? Yeah he was shocked because he felt he could get away with nailing Artest with a cup of beer.

Then you have fans come on the court challenging the players? Those guys deserved what they got. Jermaine O'Neal threw a wicked jab to some dude who wanted to go at it w/ Artest. Then you have all the idiots throwing beer, popcorn, and even chairs at the players when they leave the court. The players should have 10+ game suspensions and have charges pressed and the fans should get arrested for assult or disorderly conduct.

can't speculate on the beginning b/c they aren't showing what brought Ben Wallace to shove Artest (in his face mainly). I know that Ben Wallace had a bad rep before joining the pistons and so does Artest... so i don't know who started that, but the rest was all justified by the players. Fuck some guy sittin in the 6th row or whatever that thinks he can chunk a beer on my face while i'm just lying there. I would have done the same thing.

BTW... didn't look like Artest really got to hit that guy, but the next one in the stands (stephen jackson ???) got another guy pretty good. I need to see the whole scene to see who really did what, instead of the 3 second clips they're playing on the news.
