okay guys, some of you know that i've been lusting for polished rims on my R1, well, i found a picture, and i've decided, i will give 10$ to whomever wants to polish them :D

I did this to my rims. It took me one afternoon to complete. You don't have to "polish" them if you don't want to, they come with a mirror like machine finish under the paint. I just bought some acft stripper from Walmart, sprayed it on, let it sit for 5 minutes and hosed it off. I repainted the spokes and center strip dary metallic gray. They came out prey nice if I do say so myself!!

Well this is poslished.....JP Designs do a bad ass job on polishing .....

'preciate it. I hope I can make it out to Ivy's tomorrow night. It's about an hour ride for me but should be fun (hwys wheelies are fun)!

did the exact same thing to my old bike and I think it looks awesome(especially price wise)

Don't be suprised if it isn't polished under the paint. The kawasaki's and honda's are the only ones i've seen that are mirrored underneath. Reese's gsxr was not polished under the paint. you could plainly see the tooling marks. I have heard the same about yamaha. but that was a few years ago. Bit just tape that shit off where ya want it, spray that shit on, and hose it off. doesn't take long at all. you've seen mine and that is exactly what was done. took a few hours to make them super clean and pretty tho.
