it didn't really look like kimbo was that bad beat up. The white dude didn't connect with too many big hits, kimbo just got wore out and couldn't fight anymore.

Kimbo would've done better if he had some more stamina, he did pretty well for a street fighter vs a professional fighter. If this would've been a regaulated match, the ref's would've called it in Verns favor will before he got choked/winded out. If you look at Gannons face, its pretty fucked up. They both had the will to win in this match, turns out the white dudes training regime was better suited to go the distance.

The fight was modified for Kimbo, he isnt pro and doesn't know all that take down and knee shit, he is a street fighter which is supposedly just bare knuckle only contact. Ironicly in the video, it looks like he is trying to take the other guy down with a take down move ( which was 'illegal' in this match ), and you're not supposed to punch the guy when they are on the ground, but on the other hand, Gannon was using a couple of 'choke' holds that really winded Vern, his team didnt know stand up chokes were legal. It just goes to show that pro's have a better training regime and they can take the fucking licks and keep on ticking. Vern just needs some stamina training instead of being straight up brute force. If they were to fight in a sanctioned match, the big white dude would have to lose 30 lbs or so to be considered in the same class as Kimbo.

If the white dude lost 30 lbs. it wouldn't be much of a match at that point. The white dude would have a lot more stamina and quickness and probably would beat Kimbo alot quicker without having to take as many punches as he did.
