Bought these then decided not to get married, lets keep relationship discussions out of this thread; thats not its purpose. Thanks.

This set is less than one month old.

I've shown these to several jewelers in the area and they've all been REALLY impressesed. Must see to appreciate. Pictures do them no justice. I got a chance to look at my rings at 30x in a gemscope yesterday and I swear I can't see the inclusions if it has them. These are very clean stones, from any angle. The cut really reflects well too. See for yourself.

Center stone is .75 carats VS2 clarity, G/H color, very good cut (princess/square). These are VERY clear colorless NOT YELLOW diamonds. On either side of it are 2 slightly smaller diamonds, and on either side of those are a row of channel set princess cut diamonds (all of similar quality, I cant tell them apart). The wedding band is half channel set with princess cut diamonds, same size as the channels on the engagement ring. 3.0 Carats total weight, the two of them together are breathtakingly beautiful and really sparkle. All the stones are 100% natural and genuine, NOT enhanced or modified in any way.

Both the engagement ring and the wedding band are 950 platinum settings with a total weight of 18.96 grams; these are heavy solid rings. They are both currently sized 4 1/2 but can be sized.

These are both unworn, unpresented, unused rings that have never been
given, taken, or damaged in any way; they are perfect in their box.

I'd be more than happy to show the set, if you like we can have them
looked at by a jeweler of your choice or in person. This is no scam
and is a great opportunity for somebody. Please research what a set
like this would cost and compare. I'm very confident that someone
will walk away with a great deal on this ring set.

Both rings were apprised by the rings designer, i've shown the set to a couple jewelers and they all believe the specifications stated are inline with the quality they observed if not better. I understand that some will want a GIA certification or similar, though after research I've found that some feel that is of value and some feel that is isn't. In either case, I'd be happy to arrange for a certification if the buyer wishes to have that done and pay for it. It is my personal opinion that a respected Jewelers opinion of quality and authenticity is more than adequate as to comment on a piece of jewelry and its value.

Please contact me with all questions. Id be happy to meet and show
the set whenever I can. I understand how someone might be uncomfotable buying these from me to the cost, please read my eBay feedback for (asimov4) feedback and if you need references from this site I can provide that. I've participated in several high dollar transactions over eBay and have 100% positive feedback. This is NOT A SCAM and I'm happy to do anything I can to make the transaction go smoothly. I will respond to all email promptly. Rings will be shipped in a carefully prepared box containing origional gift box (pictured) if need be, and I'll pay fo shipping w/ insurance.

Do some research on a comparable set and offer accordingly. I'm open to offers.

Now that I look at the pictures a bit, the sony T1 did a pretty good job taking the pictures. Its hard to take a picture of a diamond. I spent quite a long time looking for a ring that had the style/quality/pricerange I was looking for and was really excited when I found this gem.

Thanks for the comments, I know someone will be very happy on the other side of this deal...if I can just find that person.

Great price on these rings!

btw, in "The Guide" wholesale Diamond book 2004, the center Diamond sells for $3,000, and the Diamonds on each side of the Center Princess cut go for $1,200 each, no including the remaining diamonds in the Engagement ring or the Diamonds in the channel set band (which should be another $2,500 easy), plus the Plat @ $532. just at scrap price's. All the way around, Great deal!

For those wondering if this is a good deal or not, it IS!!!!!

Good luck ScottJ

Thanks for the painful reminder :( No really, thanks for the kind comments.

One thing I forgot to mention, this set as a very unique feature that I haven't seen on any other set when I was shopping. As you can see, the engagement ring has a big prong'ed setting for the center and side stones, well most wedding bands don't sit flush up against that setting and scratch where the 2 touch. This wedding band is 'notched' to perfectly fit right next to the engagement ring, so, you can go ahead and soulder the 2 together perfectly. I think you can kind of see this in the pictures.

Thanks again for all the comments all.
