On Nov 20, 2004, a group of us are planning another paintball gathering for fun. We play on a private field which has ample enough parking and is a safe area. The location of the field is in Irving Texas. We play by the standard rules that many fields in the area play by. All we ask is that you have your own gear (Marker, mask, air tank). If you do not have those and still wish to play, PM me and maybe I can get you a hook up with a marker and mask (we do have a couple loaners). Paintballs will be your responsibility.
We do have a standing rule, if your marker is rated for 14 bps+ you will not be able to play with it. We used 13 or less on bps as a general guide to keep the playing field even as possible. Keep in mind, that marker manufacturers have inflated the BPS of their markers beyond belief in some cases. Generally all mechanical semis and low end electronic guns are fine. If your marker requires a loader that feeds faster than a Viewloader Revy, then it will be not be allowed on the field. There will be no exceptions on this rule.
Also we play in a wooded area, so those allergic to Poison plants may want to invest in some Ivy Block. Those who wish to reduce the chances of bugs getting on them may want to invest in some "Deep Woods Off". The field that we play on will be taped off by string with ribbons tied to it. The field is approximately the size of 3/4 and acre to 1 acre of land.
It is also highly recommended that those playing wear long sleeve shirts, long pants, and any other protective gear that you might own. (Knee pads, elbow pads, Neck wraps, head wraps, etc). Military Camos or Dark Clothing is HIGHLY recommended also.
With the above said and if you are still interested, please PM me or email me at dacotua (at) yahoo (dot) com. Please include your name, a phone number that you can be reached at, and your email address (if you PM me). I will get back to you with a more detailed copy of the rules and the directions on where to meet.
