Sen. John Kerry (news - web sites), bracing for a potential fight over election results, will not hesitate to declare victory Nov. 2 and defend it, advisers say. He also will be prepared to name a national security team before knowing whether he's secured the presidency.

I think Parcells should use this strategy on Sundays. Even if the Cowboys lose, declare victory and don't change your tune. Eventually people may believe you actually won.

Parcells should just have the lawyers suit up and join the team. That way when they are tackled they can sue.

I'm sorry, but that is the most disgusting thing I have ever read. They are actively working to destroy the democratic process.

I will never cast a vote for anyone calling themselves a Democrat after hearing that. Time for a new party of opposition, a SANE one.

you should know that when running for relection you dont win by 1 percent of the vote. It is clear in all the polls that Bush isnt going to win. This isnt the same as in 2000 when it was 2 new guys.. Where the undesided vote could go to anyone.. If the president is liked it will be a landslide victory.. if there have been problems in the last 4 years.. history has shown that the undesided voters will vote for the challenger..

Bush needs something Big to come out to get these voters on his side.. Like maybe WMD in Iraq.. if not Bush will lose, facts are facts..

This was posted her yesterday..

1984

Ronald Wilson Reagan 54,455,000 58.8%
Walter Frederick Mondale 13 37,577,000 40.5%

1992

William Jefferson Clinton 44,908,254 42.93%
George Herbert Walker Bush 39,102,343 37.38%

1996

William Jefferson Clinton 47,402,357 49.24%
Robert Joseph Dole 39,198,755 40.71%

as you see reagan owned walter.. landslide victory for second term.

then in 92 Bush lost by 5 percent and didnt get his second term..

then 96 another landslide victory and clinton got in for a second term.. dont you see the pattern here..

The problem with 1 percent victory is that you never get one if going for second term. You either win by 10 percent or you lose.

They just busted a move last night when everyone said they could never win ALCS over the Yanks....

The only way Kerry wins this thing is because of all the young dumbasses who have not been around long enough to have a clue on what it takes to run a country get out and vote because P Diddy signed thier T Shirt.......

People who believe in bullshit plans and arm chair quarterbacking....

I Look at the Kerry and the election like this....

It is easy to sit in my arm chair and rip Vinny T a new ass for fumblimg agaist the steelers the other day.... But I have been knocked out on the football field more than once and I know that it is easier said than done... However there are alot of dumbasses in the world who actually think they could complete a 40 yard pass against an NFL defense much less a college defense. They shoot thier mouths on how they would do it and yada yada yada.....

That is what Kerry is doing in this election.... Bullshitting and armchairing his way into the minds of those who do not know any better.

If he gets elected I will only hope he does half of what he says he will do because I do not want this country to go down the tubes....

But for you younger guys who have not been around a few years I suggest you heed the words of some of the guys who have been..... When we say we told you so..... We mean it....

Use your head when you vote.... Don't believe the hype... or the lies....

Yeah... Well I have already voted for the party I support...

This is the first time I have used the early voting time... I used to wait until election day....

Well I can honestly recommend going and voting early.

I was in and out in a few minutes....

It was great.

I heard on Jay Leno that Kerry will have 10,000 lawyers at polls across the country on election day, not sure on the accuracy of his info...

Im going to wait till November 2nd to vote. But even though im voting for Bush, I really dont think he is going to win. My opinion is on facts and isn’t bias as some on this site.

The truth can be painful.

I early voted for the first time too. I believe the polls will be packed on Nov 2 and
I believe that Kerry will win - because the truth is that Bush is the bigger bullshitter. But I respect the opinion of everyone that votes. If you don't vote, you can't bitch if your guy loses and you can't gloat if he wins.

You're an idiot, I saw a study lastnight that was done solely because of people like you spreading your uneducated bullshit! According to that study, which was done by a democrat pollster, throughout history the incumbant has picked up more than half of the undecided votes that are left in the last week of an election.

TexasDevilDog
10-27-2004, 07:06 AM
Undecide voters (6% of voters) < 49% of population that didn't vote.

Undecided voters in the polls don't mean squat this time. The people that typically don't vote are not in polls because they are not in the "likely voters" group.

They said on the radio that nearly 50% of registered Texans have voted already. In 2000, only 43.8% of Texans voted.

This thought frightens me because of how well kerry does at bsing his sheep. I've had a bad feeling for some time that there was going to be physical violence due to this election and this would be a major boiling point if that douche bag says he's won without actually doing so. Imagine the actions of his blind followers who think he can do no wrong if they hear he's won and then have to hear he hasn't won, surely it will be the great evil right wing of the government who has stolen yet another election from the poor tree humpings protesters of america, and I'm sure they'll throw a hissy fit like we've never seen before... oh well it'll give me an excuse to finally beat the living crap out of one of these idiots.

My opinion? Character still matters... Bush has it, Kerry doesn't.

I pray that the American people will prove me right on Nov 2.
