View Full Version : This is my prediction for the election.

Everyone is fired up about this election. It is going to be a big turn out. The people that voted last time will be there this time and will probably vote the same party as last, but who will make up the people that don't normally vote and didn't vote last time, that is who is going to decide this election.

This big group of new voters, the silent majority, the people that usually go with the flow and don't see any real change needed in government, so they don't vote, are the people that make the election. 100 Million of them. Who are these quite people?

Newbie voters, you know the people that can't drink alcohol yet. I know that many have been registering these group of people heavily, but I am going to discount half of them because those people will either be too hung over, currently partying, studying, will forget or be too damn lazy to go. We are talking about the "me" generation. I will say most of these people will "feel" that Kerry is more caring.

Next group is the common everyday "Joe six pack". People that will relate much better to Bush than Kerry.

Next is the evangelical christians. Most non-bible thumping christians are laid back type of people, just trying to get by. Kerry has said the wrong things to win over many.

Lastly, the rest of the quite ones are not the noisey people. That is quit simplistic to say but it easy to figure out. Which partisians are the ones always marching, chanting and protesting. The hate from partisians about Bush is worse than the hate from partisians about Clinton. So the rest of the quite one are more likely Bush tending, not all, but most.

As for some voters from last time, Bush is polling double from the African Americans than he received from the 2000 election and Bush is up 10% with women from 2000.

I say it will be surprising big Bush win.

Well as always you have the people who really care about the country for the most part holding down real jobs etc are going to vote whether it be for Bush or Kerry....

What gets me is the Democrats running around picking up homeless bums and getting them to register and vote etc....

You figure in Florida last election they could have gotten 600 bums off the street and gave them a bottle of boones farm to cast thier vote for gore....

I make no predictions on this one but I sure hope the Republicans get out and vote....

My prediction: Bush will have 290 electoral votes and 57% of the popular vote.

IMO, no matter what happens the Dems are going to cry foul and attempt to mount a massive court battle. The leftists are so far out of control with their rhetoric that they are going to look foolish if Bush wins.

i also agree

it seems to me that people are relizeing that kerrys wife will be our first lady if he won

i really belive he/she is the one behind him running for presedent.
i think its just a status symbol that she wants (to be called the first lady). its the one thing she cant buy or get herself.

Kerry and 10,000 lawyers can’t be wrong! According to him anyway.

My prediction is that I'm going to vote on Saturday and forget the rest of this bullshit for 4 more years. I'm sick of the sack of shit we've been handed by both candidates this year.

Newbie voters, ....... I will say most of these people will "feel" that Kerry is more caring.

I guess my thoughts were wrong about those young bastards.

from CNNBut such results are hardly universal. A late September Pew Research Center survey, for instance, showed 48 percent of voters age 18-29 supporting Bush, with Kerry getting 42 percent backing. http://www.cnn.com/2004/ALLPOLITICS/10/21/youth.vote/index.html

Where did we go wrong with the youth of today?

If you are retiring next year, why in the world would you have your money in such a risky investment?

How old are you???

Are you of retirement age???

What month did your premiums actually increase??? Month/Year please....

My premiums went up as well at work but no were near $400.00 a month...

I have to call you out on this and ask for proof that you are paying $600.00 a month and work for the county.... I would like to know what county you work for at least and I will call and ask some questions about the benifits there. If you are paying that much, I apologize for calliong you out on it...... However I have heard so much bullshit from Democrats that I must see some proof. I have heard almost the same thing on here before and asked for proof. But no one ever gives any. On another note I am sure it sucks.... However I do believe in the economic times we are in there are sacrifices to be made. We have all made some....

I take it the month after Bush took office you got a premium increase right???

Stace

We just had the biggest stock market bubble of all times, including 1929 and you rode the decline? Ouchie. I moved all my 401k money out in Feb 2000. I told other people to get out, but they said, "it'll go back up, it always goes up". Now they have 25% of what they had 4 years ago, but I have gained money from having my my 401K is money market. 3-4% a year is good when the market is -20-30% a year.

That is stupid to pay $1200 a month for insurance.

This is a prime example of one problem with people afording health insurance. Most people don't know what insurance is for. They get a policy that is a huge umbrella.

Getting a policy that covers everything health wise, even a cold, is like getting a insurance policy that will cover your car when you run out of gas.

Where's GE!?
