What do you want to see happen out there? Id like to have more heavy hitters come out...Im personally tired of seeing the same cars every week running the same numbers.
What can we do to change that? Input, criticizm, etc is welcome.

If ya'll could make it roughly 30 minutes closer to me and a lot others then I think that could help.;)
I'm sure there are a lot of people that don't come down there just cause we have redline and denton so much closer ya know? Beats me.
Out of the 5 times I've been to K'Dale the track closed without notice on the website or voice message twice. Thats a long ass drive for a track to not keep people informed. That may have changed but if not I would make that a priority since it turned a lot of use North North Dallas people off from making the drive since sometimes it was hit or miss for us in the past.

Ban ricers! Damn cars take up all the stagging lanes and you get very few runs and they drag water all over. Oh well I guess they pay the track bills though.

Thats a city ordanence in order for them to operate.
I agree quick 8 needs to be just that I aint bracket racing some chump change high 7s car for QUICK 8. If I get beat I want it to be because they were faster than me.

I dont care if you trailer a car in, as long as it has current Tags and inspection, its good to go.
The idea behind it is, to keep the race cars that usually oil down the track, away from us on those nights. We dont have the crew to handle a big nasty oil down on a Thursday or Sunday night.

thurs. night still pays $100. for quik 8 ? anybody with fast streetcar should be happy with that. Josh dont forget the ricers bring 90% of the hot girls.

My idea behind our quick 8 setup would be to no longer give the $100 bucks...Put that money over into the Domestic and Import Eliminators...they have mostly the slower cars anyway.
For Quick 8...Run the qualifying passes, and pair you on a sportsman ladder, but run it heads up, for bragging rights, and for a trophy only. At the end of the season whoever has the fastest "street legal" quick 8 qualifying pass gets a undisclosed $$$ bonus and a gift certificate to one of our track sponsers such as Speedtek at the end of the season. Maybe seperate them into power adder group and NA group to keep it somewhat fair.

Well it is going to stay street nights...But are you gonna get out and drive your car on the streets without tags or inspection? Thats all we ask for...I dont see why its so hard to up keep those 2 things.

I'd come every time if it wasnt so far.
stricter on the people going through the water box. if it's a car on street tires force them to go around...dont let guys do "burn outs" in the water box.

I live 5 minutes from 'dale but the damn staging lanes SUCK ASS. I have gone out there and ran 2 or maybe 3 times from 7pm-close. How about make thursday "no rice" day and only let domestics (with v8's) run and then make something like Monday night (when no one is there) import night ;)

You know mike, I have mufflers to install, and I can "get" tags and inspection, so I will come support on sundays, I like it better then anyhow, get there early make a few runs and get the hell out when the imports start to show up

Then those are the guys that "talk" about having a street car when in reality its really a freaking race car. All because they dont want to have it tagged and have a current inspection sticker.
Ive got some sick street cars that come to play on Thursday nights and they dont have a problem running deep in the 5's as a street car. Tell your boys to step up to the plate.
Eric, dont forget about Chris in the Datsun!!!

Thats a great idea, but the idea is we want you to stay to keep the ricers away! HAAHA
The more domestics we keep there the more you can over power them and scare them..LOL
We have to allow both types of cars, but I also would like to have someone in the waterbox pointing cars around the water box if they are on street tires....Drag Radials are considered street tires only if you have the factory tires on the front of the vehicle. Front runners dont carry all that much water to the lines like a full size tire would.
Mike
Keep the ideas coming, i think this will inturn give back to our racing community and everyone can have fun and be safe.

I think that is pretty much been handled now. Come out and give it another try, and if there is a problem, i would like to speak with you about at the track. Deal?

Sunday used to be one of my favorite days to go out to dale. However, since they made it madatory for you to have tags and inspection to race even if you are not going to race in one of the street classes I don't go anymore. It's not that I can't register my car and get an inspection for it, its that I can't justify spending the money on them just so I can race on one night of the week. And its not like i have some full blown race car, its just considered one because there are no tags and inspection on it. :(

I run mine less tha you do and its 100 bucks for both on avg for an entire year. So I don't really get that point.

Well if I had a classic and could get an inspection for $15 that would not be a problem. However, it has got to the point where in order for me to get an inspection that will cost a $100 by itself. Then you through in $70 for registration and your up to almost $200 just to race on a certain night. I don't know about you but unfortunatly I don't race enough to justify that cost.

Why even own the car if your not going to race on your favorite night? Reg 70.00 what is the car an 03. Registration should only be about 50 bucks and no one made you by the car you have. I drive mine on the streets some and like to be legal. I imagine you drive yours around once in a while also.
Not raggin on you I am just giving my point of view. You will do what you want anyways but complaining about it is different. It is a street car day and should be street legal to run. Same as having to have Cage certifications, NHRA membership, NHRA licenses and 5 way harness not more than 2 years old to run races or even in some cases go fast at a track. Just the cost of racing. Trust me cost a bunch more for me to go this fast than just tags and inspection.

Well to start with I was not complaining just simply stating why I no longer go on Thursday/Sunday. Benfetchedlately was wanting to know why the turnout is not what it used to be on these days and I just wanted to give my input as to at least why I stopped going. I never cared to race in the street classes, just wanted to T&T. They have a right to have the rules as they choose and that is fine. I would just rather pay an additional $5 dollars to race on one of the other nights or go to Denton instead. I understand your point and I know you are not raggin on me just as I'm not trying to rag on you. I'm just stating my opinion like you.
