Just put the car on the scales. I have to weigh 2800 for FFW Renegade.

Without me in it.... 2597

With me at raceready, suit, helmet, fuel, water and 20lbs of nitrous on board..

2871.

I need to remove about 150lbs so I can put the weight where I want it. Any Ideas???

Product Engineering and Magnafuel. The purple was somethin different than red or blue.

What is cool, All the fuel hose ends are black, The oil hose ends are silver and the water ends are red/blue.

edit: Lexan in all windows is legal....allright. Taking the doors apart tomorrow and getting some more lexan...Stay Tuned

I have those. 2 of them but, I am not sure that I trust them just yet. I have to rotate 4 bottles in the car. 2 in the car and 2 in the heater. After a pass, refill the two in the car and put them in the heater. Plus, I would have to re-engineer the killer bottle bracket system that was fab'd.

Is the cage & suspension chrome moly. Probabbly late if the cage is mild steel! What abou the wheelie bars? Chute mount?

How about aluminum seats? Lighter battery? Smaller fuel cell? Take the struts off the hatch? Extra wiring removed?

If you scrape the insulation off of the floor and remove the heat insulation from the back of the carpet, that was 52lbs on my 89 hatchback.

I replaced my hatchback with a fiberglass hatch with lexan and that was a 72lb difference.

Door braces are 19lbs.

Bumpers are some weight savings although I wouldn't run without them.

just put 3 lug nuts on every wheel, that will save some good weight. you could also cut half of the wheels off, that would look cool and save weight.

all you need to do is practice on the "Garland Start". The way that thing is going to be all over the track he will stay back if you get a good enoug jump.
