Ahhhh....

I just voted about 2 hours ago....

While I know we are in a strongly republican state it was refreshing to hear the very elderly lady next to me ask the election official how to vote a straight republican ticket....

Then my wife asked the election dude if that was all she had to do to vote a straight republican ticket....

I then gleefully hit it up with the straight republican ticket!!!...

so 3 outta 5 booths all cast a straight republican ballot within 30 seconds of each other....

GO VOTE!!!!!

I haven't finished going over all the candidates yet, but being about 2/3's of the way through looks like I might be rolling straight ticket Republican myself.

I volunteered about 5 hours of my time helping the Pete Sessions campaign on Saturday by handing out flyers and stamping pamplets. I overheard Pete say that we will probably win about 7 more Republican seats in the federal and state level legislature. :D I also got to take a picture with Pete to. :cool:

I'm taking my grandma to vote sometime this week so you can count two more straight republican tickets although it took me some research this year with the redistricting to decide if I would be voting straight party or not.

I voted over at Irving City Hall this morning.... No problems over there... although kinda' busy with lots of people, I was in and out within' 5 minutes...

oh, btw... my vote was also cast for the Straight republican ticket.

and how freakin' stupid would you have to be NOT to be able to figure out the ballot... jeeze, a child could easily figure out how to vote over here...

Have not voted yet but plan to. Plan to vote for Kerry to make all you so very happy. Not that is matters in this state though. ;)
