Who lives in Arlington and is voting for or against the stadium?

I'm glad it didn't come to Fort Worth.

I want to see someone account for the millions it will "inject into the local economy". I can't see it.

If you think traffic at 360 and 30 (and all the sidestreets) is a clusterfuck now, just wait till a Cowboy game, a Rangers game, and Hurricane Harbor all let out at the same time.

Let Jerry Jones pay for his own damn stadium. Glad I don't live in Arlington.

Seeing as he will be getting the money made from the place, IMO this makes the most sense.

Let him pay for his own stadium.

Any business out in the DFW area has to pay for their own building, land, and associated costs. Why should people pay for a building that Jerry Jones is going to make a ton off of.

What does everyone think about using eminent domain for a business?

I think it's bullshit.

it sets a really crappy precedent ..

one where the government can take over any private property, for any reason it wants...

Typically Hurrican Harbor is closed during football season, now Six Flags on the other hand....

<-- Glad he lives in S. Arlington but it's not much better.

my parents house is just down the street from TX stadium, and the traffic here sucks during the game. I either try to never be in the area during the time or stay at thier house. That being said, i honestly HOPE Arlington votes YES for this. My father has lots of friends on the city of irving Board, and judging from what i've read and been told, Irving REALLY DIDN'T get what they thought they would from the stadium. alot less income to the city then expected and more traffic, causing more damage to road ways, and accidents etc. It also requires more police for the games...... I dont think that the stadium will help them as much as they think, but i do hope they get it!

Exactly. I mean, look at all the development around texas stadium (and AAC & reunion)

My parents have lived in the texas stadium area for years. All it has brought to the area seems to be traffic & litter.

JJ ought to pay his own way.

Jerry wants the SUPERBOWL! thats the whole deal! he thinks that with a bigger stadium that will hold enuff people, he will get the money for a superbowl. Just think about how much HE would profit if it actually did come to texas. hundred million easy..... take 100,000 seats times average superbowl ticket of say $250.00.... thats 25million. jsut in tickets, and you know that ALOT of those tickets are WAY higher priced. plus all the food and retail goods, parking, hotel's... that is what JERRY WANTS! FUCK JERRY! The people that live in the area are the ones that actually have to pay for it in the end, EVERYTIME!!! JMO
