let's just suppose that for some odd reason you HAD to vote for the opposition (or in the event that they did win), what would be the #1 thing that you would feel the strongest about them changing? please no bashing either candidate, just merely state facts. don't say "i wish he were less of a dumbass" or things of that nature, give INSIGHTFUL info :D
i guess i'm still wanting someone to help me with VALID points, non-partisan info...ideals to ideals, not dem to repub, thought-provoking info to help me make up my mind. i've watched 2 of the pres debates and the vp debate. i'm not a huge bush supporter, and i think he PERSONALLY is an idiot, he's just surrounded himself by smart people (like any president tries to do), but on the other hand, kerry scares me in the fact that if he wouldn't stand up to terrorists...we'd be screwed. i NEVER thought i'd see the day when i'd vote for bush... but kerry might end up scaring me into voting for him. i don't vote for just one party, (which is ridiculous that most people do), however, i vote on ideals. I'm a firm believer of not voting unless you have an INFORMED opinion, and i'd like to be informed as much as possible, so please no OPINIONS...just facts. TIA for helpin me out as well as other undecided voters.

opposition -Kerry
#1 concern- Making sure he does not dismantle our military by putting them under U.N. control (shudder).

yeah, the military is the # 1 concern of mine from a kerry standpoint also. i don't want to go off starting a bunch of wars with other countries, but i also want someone who will stand up to terrorists.

i am voting for Bush, and here is my number one reason why:

i feel that after 9-11-01, we as a public have been shown just how exposed we really are to terrorist attacks and internal assaults. Bush has done everything within his power to see to it that we have never had another attack. so far (crossing fingers) he has done an excellent job. he supports our military, he abhors any form of malice directed towards the USA, and will knock on your country's door to let you know of our displeasure.

i felt we should have uprooted Saddam years ago. it was a bit too late. i am 100% behind eliminating that man and his tyrannical leadership. the only opposition we see is the 5% of Iraqis who were funded/supported by Saddam. the rest of the country people are scared to speak out, they know that they will be killed for doing so. hence the reason we see little support from plain-jane USA-supporting iraqis.

but back to my point, after that prep statement: kerry has shown little/no support of our military's endeavors overseas. he shows little/no ambition to rid the WORLD of terrorism. you can protect your little square of land for only so long before the rest of the world overwhelms you. i believe kerry will try to adapt some form of USA-border limited anti-terrorism tactics. that scares me. he wont go after the root of the concern: overseas training camps. terrorist cells in west-european countries. foriegn funding of terrist plots. bush is doing this. is he pissing some people off? sure. but fuck them, i would rather live at the expense of ruffling feathers than die because some numbnuts dickwad president felt that "we should try talking it out and making friends, not burning bridges."

john kerry needs some kneepads so he isn't sore after sucking the UN leader's cocks.
