Yeah. I just got of the R-1 forum and yep, I'm sure the 2nd gear is out of whack. It only skips when I give it the spurs in 2nd gear. I guess the previous owner was a drag racing nut or a 2nd gear wheeliing fool. :mad:
NE know how to work on these things? :D

urban cycle sports. in carrollton off 35 and beltline. in the college park business area. they replaced my clutch on the tlr1000. they are cheaper than the dealership and he is trusted by most on the sportbike clubs around the area. the number is 972-446-0596 or 214-498-0596. also go back into the shop area there was some sweet :eek: stretched out drag bikes back there.

your shift fork is probably bent, happens when you miss the gear or get it partly in there and it pops out. Then once its bent it will just tear up those gears that mesh to it. So your 1st 2nd and 3rd are probably all jacked. Not a big deal at all, just time consuming. You have to pull the motor and slpit the cases.
I should have rode your bike i would have known. Didnt I tell you R1s were the tranny killers....see if you can just send it to R & D and it will never break again.
