View Full Version : Best place to finance a bike?
I'm not looking for anything spectacular just a starter bike like a 600. If I wait until winter will I get a better deal? I know it depends on credit but what is a good estimate on monthly payments? Thanks-J
Check with your bank on an unsecured loan (line of credit).

That'll be your best bet to avoid getting raped. If you don't mind the raping, check out Southwest Superbikes (http://www.southwestsuperbikes.com/
). There over by Speed Zone (or whatever that place is called) off of I-35E between Walnut Hill and Royal Lane.

generally an estimate of payments is 20$ per 1000$ financed on a 5 year note.

southwest superbikes has inhouse financing, but they still do a credit check... best bet is to go through your bank.

as long as you are careful with your wrist, and don't get too comfortable on the bike, i don't see ANY reason why you couldn't start on a 600.

Yea the deal with suzuki is its 99 dollars a month payment. for 60 months when you use their credit card thing. On approved credit. But after the 60 months its 17.9% or 21% which ever they choose.

no that is $99 a month for any bike with no down payment and approved financing. You can buy a miladin edition 1000 if approved for that much and it will cost you the same amount per month as an 04 600.

E-trade finances bikes. I think the range is from 7.5%-8.5%. I financed mine through them.

The 99 dollars a month is the minimum on the credit card, if you want to pay it off this decade then you must pay more. My 1000 is 244 a month for five years or I can pay my minimum of 99 dollars. Also If you want a new Gixxer I can Get them discounted for ya.......

Holy Cow man!!!!
244X60=14,640.00 with financing for a 1000. Got my ZX10R through Kawi for $10,422.00 OTD. Put 4K down and got 3.9% for three years. Payment are less than $190 a month. Paid three payments then paid her off. I think most of these $99 a month scams are worthless. You end up paying so much in interest.

You are exactly right. I have 9 percent financing and zero down. I went ahead and got my exhaust, frame sliders, gloves, helmet, and jacket added in to that deal. Thats why it seems like so much, but I also plan on paying mine off quickly, I hate interest. I was just giving a example.
