What to use to remove wax?

I have some bug stains under a wax layer about 4 months old and I've got a big show coming up I was wondering what would I use to remove the wax and the pasted on bugs thanks :)

i've always used dawn dish soap, clay bar, and a paint cleaner to prep before a new coat of wax... i'd say that'd get off most of the old wax.

i think that gas works well as well!!! :o

most dish detergents do a pretty good job of it :cool:

Dawn will typically work pretty well. Bug & Tar remover will take a coat of wax off as well.
