I never played the first HL, but really want to get into the 2nd one...Halo2 will kick ass, and every movie I see about HL2 looks really cool..


But S.T.A.L.K.E.R. and FEAR will put HL2 and Halo to shame IMO

Never too late to start man. Even though it is way outdated, it is still fun to play. Might help you get into the second one a little more if you know the history from the first one.

i felt doom 3 was a let down, personally.

i think that Halo 2 will be a great game, IF microsoft can keep from fucking it up, like they did the first one.

If your not an eye candy junky and just want to play a good game...

1. To enjoy playing it
2. To catch the stories

I'd definetly do it. If I were in the states right now I'd give you my copies so you would not have to try and buy it. I'd get HL, HL Opposing Forces (I think..where you play the Marines), and Blue Shift. All very good.

If you want bad ass graphics, well the game is too old. Still good stuff and great gameplay.
