Hi, this is about the bike on ebay. It's in perfect condition and it has only 1024 miles.

I have to tell you that I am located in Athens, Greece and IŽll ship the bike from here. The bike will arrive to your dor in 5 days tops.

For payment, IŽll like to use a wire transfer through an ebay service (such as square trade), so weŽll be both protected.

Please let me know your thoughts.
Best Regards

What color is the bike? Does it have any modifications? Have you
listed the bike on eBay and if so what is its auction number?

How about you send me the bike and then I'll pay you. Or maybe you
ship it to an escrow service in my area which will handle the money
exhange for you.

Who would your shipping company be if you were to ship it? What is
the person's name at the shipping company that will be in contact with
me and what is their contact number? What is the VIN number of the
bike? I need pictures of it and the title in the same picture with
you holding it as well as your address and contact telephone number so
we can talk. In fact, please provide detailed pictures of the bike at
many angles at the same location with the title in the pictures. A
newspaper local to your location in the photo would also help in
certifiying the photo's authenticity. I will also require a picture
of the title showing its VIN number as well as the VIN number stamp on
the motorcycle in the same picture. This again will verify
authenticity.

I won't buy anything from anybody anywhere where at the LEAST a 3rd
party cannot verify the authenticity of an offer if I myself cannot
personally inspect it.

If your really serious, I will contact a 3rd party Escrow service
local to ME to handle the arrangements. They will hold your payment
from me until they recieve the bike and it can be inspected by myself
to verify that it is in 'as-described' condition. Upon my approval of
its condition your payment will be sent to you, otherwise, I'll pay to
ship it back to you. I assume your shipping service will insure the
package so that if it were lost in transit there would be no liability
on your part. I will need a copy of the shipping bill and a picture
of it with the package at my Escrow service before we can accept the
package. So that my Escow service can stay aware of the logistics of
the shipment of the bike, they will likley require a contact number
for your shipping company in the United States, so please provide that
also.

In addition, there may be some duties and/or taxes related with the
import of the package. A copy of any such documentation will need to
be in our hands prior to recieving the package.

If your offer is ligitimate, I will pay for all Escrow services. I
need to know the origin of the bike and where it came from. Being
that its like new I assume it came new from a dealer. I need that
dealers contact information to verify that you purchased it from them.
If you didn't purchase it from a dealer, I'll need the previous
owners contact information so that I can verify with them your claim
of ownership and that the transaction your proposing is in fact from
OWNER to BUYER and that you are not acting in the sale as anyone BUT
THE OWNER. I assume the title to this bike is in your name. If the
title is NOT in your name, than you cannot transfer it to anyone
legally. If you have not registered the bike since you bought it,
that will need to take place so that the title clearly shows that the
current owner is releasing title to a new buyer. This process can
take some time and I'm willing to wait, just keep me updated.

I realize that I've requested a lot, though its neccesary considering
the great distance between the buyer and seller and of course the
money involved. I'm sure you can appreciate my position and
understand that I have to take percaution not to get Scamed. I will
select and Escrow service of my choice as I am the buyer in this
transaction and the one surrendering funds for a proposed offer, it is
my choice.

Oh and lastly, I'll need your first and last name.

I'll await your thoughts.

If people would quit falling for these scams, maybe they would stop doing them. Somehow I feel that there are idiots out there who would think this deal would actually go through.
