Emblem/badge removal

I want to remove the emblems on my 04 Gt, seen others with them removed, nice smooth look. any tips, hints so I won't mess up the paint.

Which emblems???

The GT ones on the side will leave holes.

Same with the gt on the trunk lid. I believe you can remove the ford one on the trunk lid.
