WTB: Bazooka Bass Tube!!!

I need to buy a bass tube quick for my g/f's b-day on Oct. 13th. I really need this quickly too. Also do you have to have an amp for the bass tube or can you just run it off a stock head unit like the stock Monsoon sound system in a 98 Firebird Formula? Thanks

It will depend if you find a powered tube but I don't recall if bazooka made one. You should be able to hook an amp to a factory head unit with the right adapter to convert speaker outputs to rca.

I've got a pioneer 2ch amp that will bridge to 125x1 with a built in crossover that could push a single 8 or 10 nicely.

I even have the adapter to hook into factory head unit.

Yeh they make an amplified version too. Im going to get the amplified one so i can just not deal with getting an amp cause i've found some for pretty cheap. Also do you know if the speakers are 6 1/2 in the doors with the 1" tweeter in a 98 Firebird Formula with that Monsoon sound system?

I got a self-amplified 8" EL8A bazooka tube that works fine, but Im taking out the system in my truck. Ill be in dallas this weekend, if you want it its yours for $65 (they are $130 new). If you want a cd player i also have a Sony Explod 50Wx4 CD/MP3 player ill unload for an extra $75, if you buy both ill throw in all the monster wiring for the system. I can leave both in my truck so you can listen to them first if you so desire.

I found an EL8A-HP amplified one but it says it doesnt have the wiring harness. What is that? Is that just to keep all the wires together or is it something i would HAVE to buy for it to work?

Unless you are getting the bazooka really cheap, I would not buy it without the harness. The harness cost around 50 bucks.

I wish I knew you needed one...I have a 8" bazooka bass tube fitted with a JLAudio speaker..only used about a month. I have several amps too. By the way...How's the car?

i have a 12 inch Audiobahn Bass Tube with the chrome flame cover...its wrapped in black vinyl. If you need and amp, i can do that too. I can also do the install as well. Let me know.
