View Full Version : What time of the day do you workout?

Morning? During lunch? Evenings?

I have not been consistent lately, maybe a morning one day, then the evening of the next.

Also, I heard that its better to workout in the mornings? True or False?

I work out in the evenings after work. Usually around 5:30-7:00. I sometimes get up around 5:30 in the mornings and do some type of cardio. Usually running about 2.5 miles.

evenings here, just for convienence...I don't know when it is best to work out...

i've heard this also. Probably cause you're not as tired as you would be after a long day of whatever you do. but then again I cant work out unless i've eaten a few hours earlier. Anyways theres no way in hell I'm gonna wake up at 5 in the morning! So i work out between 6 and 8pm.

I've read that natural testosterone levels in the body peak at about 12-1 and that's why some suggest morning workouts. I just go after work for convenience.

I usually have my best workouts in the morning, but my schedule only allows me to workout in the evening. That is better usually more women in the gym at that time.

If you are trying to lose weight, work out (cardio) in the morning. Don't eat for an hour after cardio. This forces your body to rely on stored energy (fat) to get its energy. Remember breakfast means breaking the fast!

i need to tone up, but i usually work out early afternoon when my energy is highest.

Ever wonder why us men wake up with a "stiff one"? It's because Testosterone levels are peaked when you have more then 6+ hours of sleep. When you rest your body, your body repairs it's self.

I workout every weekday at 1:30 pm and take the weekends off. My cycle is-- workout for five weeks and then skip one week.
