Two PC's on one Broadband connection?

What's the best way to do this, a router? I've got roadrunner at my house and want to be able to use it on 2 PCs

If so, what's a good 'budget' router, and can I install/hook it up myself, or are they internal?

What could I expect to spend?

I'm not computer stupid...but I don't know much about installing hardware.
