You might have heard this joke, but its new to me!!!
There once was a husband who was a big time penny pincher name Dave.
His wife Cindy was expected to be his perfect house wife.
Dave was so tight on his money that he made Cindy write down every penny she spent. Cindy was expected to ask permission for anything she wanted to buy. Dave saved every penny he earned and bought only the bare necessities. Cindy was not allowed to work, and the money Dave brought home was his. Dave often gave Cindy rules and she always conformed to them. Cindy continued to be faithful throughout their relationship. Dave told her when he died that he wanted his money buried with him. Dave worked for the money and it was his, so therefore he would die with it. Sure enough he died before her and she was there at his funeral with the box getting ready to bury it with him. Her friends and relatives were amazed at how faitful she was to him and were shocked the was going through with it. One of her friends asked her how much was in the box. She replied I deposited $140,000 in my bank earlier so I wrote a check for that, its in the box.
