#1 what is the easiest/fastest way to wash and dry off a sportbike? body wise would be easy, but its the underneath/tail/wheels that are getting nasty. would that mister clean car wash crap dry off with no spots on a bike? i guess i could use a blower/air hose to dry it off. after washing i dont have to lube chain each time do i?
#2 is the joerocket ballistic 4.0 a good jacket?
#3 am i the only one paranoid of losing stuff out of my pockets. i figure getting some good gear will help some of that.
1 - I would go to the local Honda store and buy some of their spray cleaner. I never use water on my bike, and my bike is spotless even under the tail.
2 - I have a couple of guys that I ride with that have That jacket and they love it.
3 - I just would not put anything in my pocket that was important. Best advice I can give it to get a tank bag.
I hope my $.02 helps. :)

Any Motorcycle shop will tell you NOT to use any kind of high pressure hose.
Because the water gets into the bearing and causes them to go bad. As explained to me.
Just go buy some Meguires misting stuff.....and dry if off with a cloth. It takes some time but it's better.
I do take mine to the car wash every once in a while and use some degreaser on the Motor cbut I spray it lightly and wash it off lightly, never high pressure.
Anything Joe rocket makes is good quality if you ask me.
Get a bank bag to put everything in and stick in your undertail.

I am not familiar with the Joe Rocket jacket you spoke of, but I have the Joe Rocket Phoenix 4.0 jacket and I love it. As far as the pocket thing, I am not concerned about it because the pockets on my jacket zip up. Hope that helped.

I use Meguire's Quik Detailer
Joe Rocket has good stuff!! (just don't get the gray/black jacket) everyone has that one!!!! :( :(
I lost 30-40 bucks outta my pocket last time I was in Dallas riding with Jason Rabbe!!!
Go to CycleGear in Plano. I bought a Dainese mesh jacket there for $99. It fits great, I love it :D :D

#1 - I wash it like a car with soap (Meguires) and water and I usually use (LOL!) a leaf blower to dry most of the water off before going over it with a chamois.
#2 - Never used one but I've heard good things about the brand anyway. I'd spend the money on a good perforated leather jacket instead of spending money on a mesh jacket.
#3 - I had a generic tank bag that a friend of mine gave with some pocket tools and I recently bought an Icon tank bag and use it alot whenever I'm riding to store my digital camera, cell phone, wallet, etc.. (I hate keeping house keys, wallet, etc. in my pockets or the storage pocket).
Don't let BottleRocket hear anybody recommending using a tank bag

JC and BottleRocket were fucking with me about it LOL! JC said that me having the tank bag kept us from looking like we where cool while riding around the other afternoon and BottleRocket said something to the effect that it looked gay or something and that a backpack looks much better or I should just keep things in my pocket or storage compartment

I'm sure when you get your jacket things in your shirt pocket will be a little safer :D

lol, we know that not all of us have that option, so sometimes you gotta rock a tank bag.
