I put a Magna Supercharger Radix inctercooled on my 03 Avalanche 5.3L

The Truck was putting down about 235 hp and 305 ft lbs tq avg NA.

pulls in order on dyno with charger.

1. 368.47 hp 408.10 tq Humidity 37% 93.29 F SAE 1.16
2. 375.58 hp 412.88 tq Humidity 39% 92.69 F SAE 1.16
3. 382.97 hp 412.69 tq Humidity 39% 91.73 F SAE 1.15
Heck of an improvement shows the Magnas do work as advertised I would say.

It has Dual 2.5" from the Cats Back through Dynomax super turbos.

I was expecing low 320s/370s.

That is a nice gain. Should pull real nice now with the trailer; maybe you can keep up with Rick when he is towing to the track:D

LOL may have to try that ! But I think he would have to keep up with me hehe. I already run 70-75 usually before the charger.

147/107 gains..................That is a helluva gain! :eek: I always wondered what that 5.3 ltre would put down with a power adder.


What kind of boost are you running? Can the stock pistons handle the SC?

Yes this is setup for a stock application only about 6-7 psi and it is intercooled.

Don't know about that but even if it were it couldnt run with one weighing 2k more.

But it is nice when you want to pass and can do it like a quick car would as apposed to a slow truck needing miles of room.
