Stock or mostly stock SHO's usually do 190ish. There were several other cars putting down really high #'s also. 94 Supra that was 100% stock did 338 rwhp, 03 Cobra with only a densocharger intake did 425 to the wheels, stock 95 Eclipse GST did 219 fwhp, and 259 ft lbs. You should take your car there with race gas and go for 800 to the wheels. :D

Yes I am sure those were all bone stock. I am sure some of those cars have things like airbox or filter ods maybe even cat bypass or exhaust mod they didnt mention. anything is possible.

But I went to Mckinny and Dynoed my Avalanch and got almost the exact same results 383 hp and 414 tq. Actually it was a hair higher.

Not really an arguement but unless you were around all those peoples cars you never really know what they may have done to them and said they were stock.

Thanks to all the guys that went and supported a friend. He will be doing it most every Saturday so you can make chanes and compare results.

I plan on taking the camaro next Saturday again with some radials if I can find some to use if not just 25 psi in the ET streets will have to do. I want to see how the chnages in the motor work and get an AF reading.

The eclipse and the supra were friends of mine, and both agreed the #'s were higher than they should have been and neither of them have reasons to sandbag their mods (or lack of). My brothers 90 ZR1 with only a catback, chip and K&N did 370 to the wheels running very very rich. I just find it odd that all the cars I saw dyno put up really good #'s. There were mechanical issues with the dyno after the Cobra ran, something to do with the brake slipping or not holding. I hope Mike's shop does well, he was a nice guy and has really good prices for his dyno. I worry that if people think his dyno isn't accurate they won't want use it, though if it is giving high readings, that may actually help bring in more customers.

I'll definitely go back when the need is there, his price per hour is really reasonable, plus he is close to home.

Didn't make it there for the dynoday, but I was out there during the week to get a intake he was holding for a friend for me to pick up. Mike was a cool guy, and said the dyno days would be held every saturday

Just to set the record straight.... The only reason we pulled the cover was to adjust air pressure because it got a little on the low side and started taking premature samples. Another thing you have to contribute too slightly high #'s is the humidity was below 40% ALL DAY. Hell, towards the end of the day we were seeing the humidity in the 30-32% range. Most car's that dynoed also had a min. of 30mins. Cool down time if not more like 45mins-1hr. If you feel that your number's were high take the car to another dyno on another day with similar conditions as yesterday and see for yourself. I have no doubt that the dyno is pretty damn close as I have seen MANY bone stock cars come in (especially LS1's) laying down right around what they should. With a dyno there isn't a whole lot a room for error, it's a very simple concept. Yes there will be a slight difference from dyno to dyno but the all going to be pretty damn close as long as the samples are taken in very similar conditions.

But anyways, Mike will be having a dyno day next Sat. as well and I already know of a few higher horsepower cars that will be there. If you plan on coming come early in the morning because if it die's off I would imagine Mike is going to close shop and all of us are heading out to Lonestar Biker Bash.

It is fairly accurate how much HP do you figure it takes to make a 6000 lb plus avalache run 9.4s @ 74 in the 1/8? try close to 400 it made 368, 375, 382

Cool guy and nice shop!

I think his dyno might be off a little.
My cobra put down 315rwhp 300 torque there.
And everybody is calling b.s. on me.

Oh and my buddies 67 broke his driveshaft and puked all over mikes floor :D

yeah it's reading high, maybe the SAE correction is off on it then. All the cars i seen there dynoed too high. I hope Mike looks into it as he is a cool guy and would like to go back.
