It's a 2004 Honda CBR 600 RR. This is the first street bike I have ever owned. I love this bike. A friend of mine said I should've got the 1000 RR, and I almost slapped him. This 600 is fast enough I couldn't have imagined the power of a 1000.

We need to get a group ride together quick.

Damn nice looking bike. If thats your first street bike......... depending on your size/weight, that bike will be plenty for quite a while.

Good looking bike bro. If you don't mind, how much did you pay for it and what do the payments look like? Just wishfull thinking on my part. If you are up for some weekend riding PM me your name, phone number, and location as I'm going to start organizing some ride GTG's on the weekends I'm home.

That will probably be enough bike for him for his whole life. There are VERY few people (maybe a few dozen) in this world that can use all of a 600cc SuperSport bike's potential.

Does the undertail exhaust warm up the seat at all, or does it dissipate fairly well?

I really does dissipate the heat very well. I was worried about that too, but it is ok.

Thanks for the kind words. I need to do some research on some fender eliminator kits for this bike. That mud flap is hideous isn't it.

staticx........ I live in the south Fort worth Burleson area.

yeah, the bike looks great stock except for that. why the hell does the factory insist on making those things so huge?

do those vents on the rear seat serve a purpose? they look kinda like they would allow air to pass under the seat to keep it from getting too warm from the exhaust.

Yeah I know what you mean. Been riding since I was 5. I just mentioned it because I know of a few people that have/had 600's and the bike was just working to hard while toting their weight with thier aggressive riding styles. They were between the 6'0 and 6'3" range and about 220 to 240 in weight.
Also I have a friend who is actually a licensed road racer. He is on the short side standing at about 5'6 or so and has two R6's. One he uses as a daily rider and the other is full blown track bike. He had an 04 R1 and sold it because he felt better on the 6. Plus his lap times were better because he was never comfortable on the R1. In his opinion comfort has alot to do with his lap times.

I like the F4i except for this year. That damn seat sucks. It looks like they went back about 5 years.

Very nice..... Mudflap's got to go!! :)

Those bikes are waterproof too!!! I KNOW THIS!!!

Friend straightened out a corner and ended up in a small creek... He was ok of course, so we fished the bike out. 4 new plugs, an oil change, and an air filter later, she's as good as new :)
