You know, and the list doesn't really tell the whole story. Soon I am sure Tommy Tutone will be up there, and also missing is cele3, sDun, etc. I know there are some guys that can make the cut that don't want to be on the list, too. There are for sure some fast cars on this site, and it seems to keep getting better. I am planning (hoping) for a lot of turnover on the 1/4 mile list oh, here about September 20 or so.

yeah no shit, send it to the shop for a new tranny, and decide on switching the entire combo...and yes the car will be at FFW, going down friday to test and tune it some, and get more seat time and get used to the brake...but it will be ready for sure...only missing a couple of tranny fittings for the lines and plugs and it will start up... :D

for the most part its just the dfw area that is so fast look at all the true street standing from all the other fun ford events some of them in other states #1 is in the elevens around here that just wont cut it your lunch meat if your at least not in the ten's and i do think part of it is people sharing info with each other

i think sharin of info has some to do with it but also the d/a down here is better with the tracks being at 600 ft above sea level opposed to say 3000 ft plus for many tracks around the country.

thats very true lots of people never look at the d/a when they go to the track it makes a huge diffrance

Yeah, but the DA around here during the summer and most other months hovers in the 2500' range. Best is between December and March when the DA goes negative with the cold dry air....it tends to break a lot of parts..... ;)

Man I was just thinking the same thing about the list. Lots off people are stepping up thier rides.

I also know there are many that arent on and could be. I like to put my best on the list as a reminder of the personal best to date for the given car I am using myself. Not really trying to compete with others but with myself.

I also like it to see how others I know are improving its always good to see others going faster.

If you talking about divorce papers to be signed...............I went thru that. I sold my car a year ago in anticipation of getting a divorce. (sold it to my sister). I was talking with my lawyer just to cover basis about the car. He told me if my wife got a good enough lawyer...................she could have the sell reversed..........even after a year! :eek: . Said it would be up to the judge. Oh also............you have to sell it at a decent price. A dollar would make the judge reverse the sale in a heart beat. It has to be realistic. Just an FYI. As of now I have been divorce for a while .......but my sister still owns my car. Antique plates are not transferable............I would have to dish out another 90.00 for them. But I have the signed title.
