I went to the belly sunday, and could not get traction, lost almost .400 from my friday Kennedale times. Any special tricks for launching out there?

I don't think your ever gonna run the same #'s at the belly like you do anywhere else? the belly is the place you go if you just have to race but nobody else is open!!! :D

And that is why I went. But I am going to have to work on the car some I guess, The street tire guys had the launch pad in shitty condition, I walked it. the rubber was just peeling up

<-----I beg to differ!

i've cut low 1.7's on dr's w/lil 3.55 gears!
and 1.5's on m/t drags'

<----STOCK SUSPENSION! :D shit the times might be about 3 tenths lower there then other tracks but there is traction!

no not yesterday, but not long ago. this was a lil before i took the coupe apart for a lil re-construction. :D

just takes a lil practice though... if you can learn to hook @ the belly, you should be able to hook @ other tracks with a breeze!

my 60 foot went from a 1.59 to a 1.79 and a 1.88, hell that last run the car didn't even go straight untill around 60 foot, then got a little loose right around second gear where the rubber ends

my best was a 1.85. Im still getting the feel of launching on a new torque convter though.

It is a little loud, open headers, but the rims up front are solid aluminum. My last run, I ran a black chevy truck

My last run at around 6 pm, pulled him by 2 seconds. Made 3 runs, first was a bye, second was a yellow bike, third and final was the truck

I got my best 60' out there ever last week (1.52 twice in a row). they have VHT at the line, its best to have some friends prep for you when you run. I also think the left lane hooks better than the right.

I was a little leary of the left lane, the grove (if you can call it that) is a little close to the wall for my liking

I went out on drag radials and et streets and the best i got was 1.9 60ft. But with my et drags that is a diffrent story. On et drags i got 1.55 60ft and it yanked the wheels.

I couldnt hook on et drags but they were a size smaller than yours. They never prep the track so it should be the same every weekend. It depends on what lane you are in also. The left lane hooks the right lane dosent.

I did get my best time there on the left, but still way off. I will just have to go try again in a few weeks
