Well there you have it...before I saw that list, Odessa Permian came to mind. Also Plano has won some. But looking at that list, Converse Judson might be right up there too

Brownwood has 7 (ranging from A or 2A up to 4A, I think). Ennis has three. Denton Ryan has 2, which is impressive considering they've only had varsity athletics less than 10 years.

Permian High, in Odessa, and Midland Lee, always kick ass. Permian not so much anymore since they had to stop recruiting ;)

I think Permian and Judson have the most in 5A but I'm not sure. I do know we beat both of them my senior year. :)

It's just the water here in Odessa...makes us mean as hell. Lately...city sanitation reform has somewhat hindered Permian's Statewide dominance...but we're genetically adapting.....so these Metroplex teams' days are numbered. GO MOJO! I think we own in most state title appearances!!

I think we own in most state title appearances!!part of the reason that permian has been so succesful is that there are only a few schools so that means the schools will get there pick of their best athletes that are there! metroplex schools have thousands of highschools so each school will have a few top players to choose from instead of one school getting them all like permian and midland lee does it's by far a lot harder to play competition wise over here than over there just cause of the quantity of schools! but I think the MOJO days are over anyways! :p
