As of today Bush would win and he should be ahead for two reasons. One is he is the incumbent and two is he is still riding of the highs of the convention. This is not uncommon or something that we haven't seen in the past and then watched that lead dwindle quickly.

Yeah right, the only difference is that Bush was against Slick Willy, not Lurch.

As of today Bush has backslid in the polls 26 points since August and Kerry has gained 1 point. This does not look good for Bush versus the August poll. I went to that link http://www.electoral-vote.com/ and the current vote prediction is Kerry 243 and Bush 254. I'm not sure but 26 points could be a painful drop :)

That site is NOT a scientific polling or independant site. Gallup is.
If you notice whoever is running that site has mixed the states up by different polling methods, some are gallup, some are the democratic polls, some are zolby, some are from other sources. They are "Fudging" the numbers to make it look closer. When you go to a site that runs a poll in every state and is consistant like Gallup, Bush is clearly the winner. Even on Zolby's site they project Bush winning.
Bush has over 300 Electoral votes as of today, if the election was held today.

You can't get it through to the Kerry supporters.
The media and lies cannot prop up that paper tiger. Kerry will be a distant memory as of November 3...
...unless we have to listen to him bitch and moan about dangling chads for the next decade.
