What am I going to have to do to get some speakers in this car. Theres no spot on the door panels for them, and I'd really rather not put them in the dash. Will I have to have something done custom?

Don't ruin a good set of door panels for some speakers.

Bah! I didnt say anything about tearing up the door panels.....the door panels on this car are about as simple as they could get.
Guess I'll just run over to EW and see what he can do....

the doors have spots on them for speakers I'm pretty sure... well... maybe not a '78, but I THINK they did...
those panels are so simple, making new ones wouldn't be too bad.

if you want some custom kick panels made for it,relatively cheap, let me know.

My own 78 Fairmont DOES have openings in the door for speakers, either 5 1/4" or 6 1/2". But you must cut the trim panel. Installing dash speakers is a breeze, just pull the dash pad(about 10 screws) and thier right there!
