Long story short, I have a store credit at cartoys, and was looking to get some gear installed. Wanted to see if anyone on the board worked at one and could give me the hookup :)
Thanks!

car toys really doesnt have a whole lot of wiggle room on their pricing, even the managers cant do more than 10-15% in most cases.
I could be wrong, but that is what i have gathered.

I went to car toys with money in pocket looking to spend around $400 maybe a little more on a nice headunit about 4 months ago, no one else in the store besides me and I looked around about 15 minutes, no one asked if i needed help the two sales guys sat behind the counter and continued their own conversation. They had a clearance on an alpine and after 30minutes of no one offering any help I finally asked if they had one in stock and one of the guys said I don't think so and went back to their own conversation without looking it up in the computer or checking to see if any other store had it...
I just left and went to circuit city and bought the same alpine on an open box special for cheaper and got great help, and has been a great headunit...
btw this was the car toys off of Bryant Irvin in for worth, I have bought two headunits from them before, and sent my mom there for her car alarm, but now I will never go to another car toys again...

I've been in a CarToys once about 2 years ago, and I was swarmed by salesman. It was in Rockwall though. The only reason I haven't been back is because that type of stuff doesn't interest me anymore..

my brother and i went in a cartoys. we looked around for near to 30 mintutes before the manager on duty finally asked us if we needed any help. pretty sure we got all the salesmen in trouble, since i mentioned we hadnt been helped in the 30 minutes we had been there.

When my friend went to go pick up his twin turbo RX7, the installers where just pulling up with his car. Since when does a simple head unit installation require a test drive. BTW this was at the 75 and Greenville store, and I went to school with the installer who was driving his RX7.
