I have hair it's just trimed. A little advice never shave your chest!!! The reason though is It feels cleaner/smoother and you're able to notice definition better without hair covering you up.

pecs and shoulders a little bigger, not much else that I can really tell other than you are a bit more tan. Yeah, shaving is bad if you are a hairy mofo, but I do take the trimmer every week and just run it over the skin. Since the hair is pretty fine it doesn't stick up like stubble and most people have to get pretty close to notice.

I'm not really trying to bulk up as much as build muscle density. I have gained 60lbs of lean mass(BF at ~15% in both pics), 1.5" on arms, and 2" on my neck. It is a slow road, but worth the time.

I'm sorry bro but I doubt you have gained 60lbs. between those pics. Maybe 20-30 but not very likely 60. I have gained about 30lbs in the past and had increases in size two times what you have.

60lbs? Really hard to believe from the pics. Good steady progress, but 60lbs?
Go to the grocery store and look at a 6 lbs sirlion roast. Multiple that density and size by 10.
Unless you are about 8' 9" tall, 60lbs is a little bit of a strech!

Muscle density? I know that each person has a certain number of muscle threads in their body and the body doesn't grow anymore fibers (except in extreme cases), but how do you build up muscle density, the fiber grows larger allowing for an increase in strength...I'm lost.
Also, if that is 15% BF then I've got to be around 25% and I know that ain't right ;)
If everything is on the up and up then congrats to you, but it is kinda hard to believe.

I'm 6' 195lbs @ 9% BF as tested today(17.5" neck, ~43" chest, 16.25" arms, 23" thighs, 15.5" calves). The first pic I weighed 135lbs. I have gained a lot of weight in my legs which is not visible in the pics.

True there are a certain number of muscle threads, but you are able to increase the density of them by the type of workouts you do, supplements you take, etc.. For example if you take creatin your muscles will become larger from being more hydrated (the balloon look). But if you take Probolic/anabolic suppliments they will not hydrate your muscles as much but will increase your bodys ability to produce more muscle tissue. If you go all natural just a lot of protein, vitamins, and natural supplements it will take longer to gain as much size, but you will be much stronger per size(density).
P.S. I got tested today while at the gym and I correct myself I am now at 9% BF.

Since so many of you doubt my statements I have taken some pics so that you should be able to see the gains more visibly.
Note: The first pics posted were a relaxed pose just to document my gains for myself. Here are some flexed pics that hopefully will show my gains a little better.
I wish I was naturally lean, I used to be, but my genetics have taken over. I have to actually eat good, and do cardio.

I'm am naturally lean, but it takes more than genetics. I am a ecto-mesomorph (for those of you who know what I'm talking about). So I still have to work hard to keep a low bodyfat while trying to build muscle. I do cardio 3 to 4 times a week for about 30-45mins, and eat somewhat healthy.

Look jackass, I'm not the one saying I've gained 60lbs when all I've really gained is a tan and shaved the hair off my chest. I'm not picking on anyone. "Kev" stated that he only gained 20-30lbs and got a lot bigger than I. "He was in the hospital", yea I see his scar, look a little closer at the pic of my back, notice a scar about 1-1/2 foot long down my spine(its called spinal fusion). Look, I know BF% has nothing to do with strength but that's not what I'm focused on right now. I made the comparison to last year when I gained about 30lbs. And i, like the others, am saying that you didn't gain 60 pounds unless you grew about 2 inches. Sorry man, im not calling you a liar, i just know more than to believe that. And the meat comparison is not completely true for those other guys. Cow muscle doesn't have the same density, fat %, and structure as human muscle. But those are some decent gains. I've grown a bit more than that and have been natural for the most part, and its only been around 20lbs maybe 30.

What weighs more a pound of rocks or a pound of feathers?
So tell me ruuuuufffffdaddy, what is the density of human lean tissue and what is the density of bovine lean tissue?
I'll take it the the closest tenth of a gram per ml.

Go back to the couch where you belong. And what would being a MD or DVM have anything to do with it? Do MD's study cows? No moron. So it has no relation to the statement or argument. Really? Wow, you must be a physiologist or something, huh?
The density, while not a perfectly accurate estimate, is comparable.
60lbs of lean human tissue is comparable to 60lbs of lean tissue of a cow. Especially when comparing a particulary lean cut of meat like sirloin.
A more accurate comparison of human muscle density/structure/attachment is that of a common house cat. Which is why cats are used in physiology classes at universities.

actually a fatty tissue called myelin is contained in the brain and around nerves to speed the transmission or impulses in the body; therefore, if i had a large content (60lbs) of myelin (fat [protein/lipid] combination) in my brain, i would have to have a huge brain, and would be able to transmit impulses incredibly quick. How ya like that stupid ass

Wooo, ya' got me there!
Except that in your case, between your ears you have pure fat, to make up for the fact you have no brain. Keeps your skull from collapsing inward.
But, you are right, if you had an incredibly fast brain, you are proving the point it isn't what you got but how you use it that matters.

I don't have a before pics. As a matter of fact I had incredibly scrawny legs before(my thighs were almost the same size around as my knees). I never worked them out untill about 5 months ago. You are absolutely the worst shit talked on this site. Maybe once you finish high school you will be a little better.
Yes, you are correct, someone very close to me does lives with MS and, as such, I have read quite a bit about it. But possible my minor in biochemistry helped a little (my degree in Economics probably didn't).
But, since you are such the little doctor, can you help me? I'm a little confused as to the role of epithelial membrane protein-2 as part of the myelin protein 22 gene family (also known as the PMP family). Can you explain it to me?
