BTW to answer any questions you dont have to do anything but keep the lot inorder no washing ar anything like that we have another dept for all that. its a easy good paying job. all managers are really laid back and easy to get along with.

Porter Jobs are gravy as long as you have a good record. I was a porter for two years before I became a mechanic. If you want to get a jump start into dealership work and possibly a chance to get moved up into a tech position, I'd do this... Some dealerships sponsor their younger guys into school. I dunno about this one, but it may be worth a shot ;)

Payton Wright Ford in Grapevine is also hiring a used car porter. Pays 8.00 but dont have to clean cars or anything just put stickers on them and take pictures. hours are mon-fri 8-5. come on by and fill out an app.

The porter is the guy that takes the car from the service drive to the bull pen and brings it back when you pick it up. It can get pretty hectic at 8am and 5pm but in between it's one of the easiest jobs at the lot. Some dealers use porters to wash cars and clean the shop.
