Take it down to autosound in bedford and see EW. He will fix you up on the cheap or sell you a quality product w/o having to replace EVERYTHING as suggested above.

EW is Da Man !!!!
Hooked me up with a new Alpine head unit at a great price and still used the stock Mach 460 amps and speaker's..

Did they run the highs off the headunit? How did they filter out the mids and lows ? The 460 if i'm not mistaken has the amp in it that runs all the "tweeters" or whatever ford's mach calls them.
well now im thinking that its the cd player now cuz it plays with no bass for like 5 minutes (just sounds shitty) then it just pops up mute and shuts itself off any help again thanks guys

I dont know exactly how he got it all wired up, but I believe that there is a plug used to adapt to the Mach460 amps, and there is an amp up front under the old head unit, so maybe that's what run's the mid's and high's. EW would have to chime in on the exact method. I will say one thing, the upgraded head unit sounds much better than the stock head unit, now I just have to get a Sub box and amp for the trunk and I'm set :D
