what computer speakers do i get??

hey guys im looking to buy some comp. speakers real soon here and im wondering if anybody has any ideas or really like's the one's they bought for their own p.c. (two or more speakers and sub), any info , pics, links would be helpfull, thanks mike.

i like mine for general stuff, but if i had it to do again, i'd get some home audio gear, and be done with it.


right now i have a logitech "4.1", and it sounds okay.

Creative Audigy SBS560 5.1 Surround is what I have and they are pretty tight. Good movie/music surround, as well as great gaming sound.

I have a set of Altec Lansing 4.1 surround speakers sitting in my closet right now, that I am about to put up for sell. Pretty cool little surround system.

It's really all about how much you wanna spend. You can get anywhere from $30, up into the hundreds.

Go to like Best Buiy or somewhere like that, they have tons on display you can hear. I got some Creative Labs speakers from Best Buy for $39.00 last year. 4 cubes and a sub. Sound is good, not like high quality, but it's just a PC, not my entertainment system. My sound card only has one output, so I can not use all 4 cube speakers, but oh well, it was cheap and had a powered sub.

update i just bought some logitech Z 640's 5.1 surround sound speakers and sub comes with 2 fronts 2 rears and a center and a sub, they are bad ass!! it has options for 2, 4 , and 6 speaker sound card's mine is a 4spkr sound card but i played a dvd and ahhh shit!! i got full surround sound! :eek: shit sounds better than my home stereo,lol!!

i want a 5.1 now.
