Wow! They are within 2 tenths of what they ran on the big tire. Very impressive. Kenny Barnes is just a pussy

I made money when he outran Bud:)

Btw: You see the Porsche crash? It ripped the axle flange apart!!! 3,000hp, 3,000 pounds and wheel hop can tear stuff up I suppose.

Yes I saw that wreck. It happend right in front of us. Thank goodness he was okay.

The Run between him and but were so freaken close. They did not even know who was gonna win. My brother just got him at the light if it had not been for that bud would have taken him

ok so its more like within .15. All im saying is i am impressed. Its a smaller tire so of course they are going to be a little slower, but DANG they are closing the gap.

Grant is still out there trying to run on the Ws...why cant Kenny?

Naw its cool, Im just saying I am impressed at how quick they have gotten up to speed on the new tire. And yes, some of the other guys need to step it up to make it more exciting (though im sure Stephanie will disagree:D ). Im sure they will be in the .60s soon enough. The W tire is new to this series so alot of the guys are still figureing them out.

Anybody else notice Tony Christian's crew chief working on the runner up's car? When comes to nitrous and street cars you can't get much better than that!

There are a lot of extremely sucessful racers competing in KOTH this year and your brothers car is kicking their asses nearly every week. He definitely knows how to run fast on 10.5" tires!

Any chance on him going on the road to some of the bigger 10.5" shootouts this year? Possibly the World Street Nationals? They use nearly identical rules as KOTH but it pays $5000 to win and last year there were 70 cars entered for a 32 car field. http://www.speedworlddragway.com/SN2001Flyer.html
