Hey guys a little advice, I wouldent work as an EMT for a private EMT service. You will spend most of your time driving back and fourth to senior care homes, transporting them for headaches! Your best bet to get the experiance you need is a volenteer fire departmant That runs a ACLS unit. That is where I started and I learned more riding the box than I did in EMT, and Paramedic calss!

Where did you do your medic school I'm doing mine a through southwestern.
My prob is finding someplace to let me volunteer. I've tried rockwall fire dept they told me I needed to live in rockwall county. I live a street a way from rockwall county.

I did my Medic course at TCCC. If you know anyone that lives in Rockwall use their address. They really have no way to verify if that is your real address. Rockwall has a great department, my friend(female)just got hired on FT as a FF/Medic she loves it. As long as a department runs a ACLS medic, I would volenteer there just for the experiance. What county/city do you live in? I might be able to help your search. By the way how do you like southwestern? I heard it was hard, but a good school.
