ozzeran: I'll give you a hint: It's an inline valve head, it's drag radial legal, and you can't bolt a stock header to it.

David Z28: Not enough to be finished with my Turbo Busa Killer project yet. :(

I would have bought the Glidden Victors if Tooley had a CNC program for them....

The cam size is recommended by the guy I'm going to have build this next motor, Steve Petty (http://www.wheelsup.net/qapetty.html). That's the lift range he and I talked about...

Big Thumper - I'm trying to get everything that I can possibly get done now before I tear the car down...
the chassis is getting updated to 25.5, wheeliebars will go on, and it will be minitubbed before the new setup.
I want to minimize downtime. I'll have all the parts for the new setup ready before I tear this motor out.

What size turbo did you end up with?

Are you going to keep the stock suspension or ladder bar it.

I'm going to keep the stock suspension for now... I'm hoping for some 5.0's in the 1/8, but who knows.
I'll ladderbar it eventually and try for some 4 second passes.

The turbo is a PT-98. I can get a cover which necks down from precision to be legal for drag radial.
The turbo is supposedly good for 1900hp as is, and 1700hp with the necked down inlet.

Please, Please don't go with a ladder bar. If you back half it, go with a 4 link.

It's a function of the classes that I'll be legal to race. I'd rather have a 4 link.

I'll revisit the issue when it's time to do it.

Not me.....lol, I don't want none of a Turbo Busa....well not yet anyway. I got someone I would like to see Nick race. I saw him run this weekend and I know he was in the 80's on Motor then sprayed and they would not show me the time.
