Transfering movies onto disc help.

How do I Change a movie format so that my DVD player will recognize it. For instance, I have a few movies/ videos(legal of course) that I want to watch on a normal tv so I don't have to sit at the desk. My dvd player read VCD, SVCD ,DVCD, D, MP3, CD, CD-R, CDR-W.... Is it possible to make it work? :confused:

There are two pretty good ones that will do the trick for you. MainConcept MPEG Encoder and TMPGEnc. And yes, it is possible to do what you are asking.
