After Lunch.

What are some things I can grub on before my workout. I workout at about 5pm everyday and it is usually 4 1/2 hours after my lunch. I'm building right now, not trying to lose weight, just build muscle. I definately want to get the most out of my workout. Any suggestions?

How about an energy bar and some V-12 Turbo. It taste pretty good and works great.

apple with peanut butter? i keep a jar of PB in my drawer and have a few spoonfuls before working out int he afternoons if i need a lift. i hate all energy bars and they are almost always loaded with calories *(i am trying to lose weight/tone)

i also keep a jar of nuts/almonds in my drawer- good protein and fuel.

I keep a big bag of raisins on my desk for munchin, also some oatmeal raisin bars, mucho good.

Beef Jerky with and a Cappucino delight slimfast.

interesting.
I keep alot of mixed nuts around at work, thats a good idea.

So anything high in protein that doesn't sit heavy on the stomach.

most stuff high in protein, low in carbs won't sit heavy on the stomach.

Beef jerky good
can of tuna
can of turkey chili
