They have new format that rocks we don't pay entry of 75 anymore!
Instead we qualify and if you qualify you get paid 75 and more fo revery round after! We had 11 or 12 cars in true street and they take the quick 8.

My first pass woiit the ET streets almost no one had gone down the track I blew the tires off went 6.73 @ 113.41. the bubble was 6.65 after 1st round with Casey Brasweel running a #1 of 6.01 @ 120 I think.

So next round I just hit the juice after the 60 went 6.234 @ 114.14 to qualify. I ended up 5th qualifier and luckey me Draws Casey Braswell 1st round so I am like well I got no choice but to juice her and pray right out of the hole!

Well Casey went 5.975 @ 121 fastest pass of the night I went spinning out of whole to 6.42 @ 113.40 Bummer but hey at least I was right and had to spray at laucnh or it was over anyway.

Casey won with a 6.01 @ 121 to Loyds Red 75 nova both BBCs 6.07 @ 118 I think. Gratz Casey!

I then switch to the 28 10.5 ET Drags and made one last pass for fun. It was in right lane pulled the tires carried for 60 feet was headed to other lane had to pull her back and ended up with a 1.384 60' 5.984 @ 114.61 so I backed up my 5.92 and made 75 bucks I have no complaints! I wished she had gone straight as usual might have been another new best or at least another .92

Look at you dipping into the 5's again. You know that is no place for a small block...lol. Congrats on backing up the original 5 second pass. You just might start showing up some of those big block guys with your big inch small block.

So, you just pay the $75 membership fee and you can race the class for free? Is this going to be for the rest of the year or was it just for lastnight? Sounds like a good deal to me. If I can get my car to run some 6.5's I might have to come just to have some fun! Are there any 5-speed small blocks running in the true street class by chance?

He has the super quiet red '67 Camaro..

He is also the one who tried to sucker me into a race after he changed his tires... and then to top it all of he wanted a Pro Tree ;)

Those dayum BBCs are runnin 118-122 mph the good thing is they cant hit the juice out of th whole so thier ets are mostly 6.0s. So I can do the et and win if I can figure out the rest of the suspension combo to hook on the ET streets.

yeah.. yeah.. well it'll most likely be a few weeks before I get the car back to the track.. I want to get the new fuel pump installed and get some new tires... possibly even go back to the dyno - because I know the tune is going to be jacked now..

I was up there playing with you fella's on Friday. That is the first time I have been to TXR in close to 10 years.
The track was super smooth and was well prepped.
I will definitely race there with the TTT5 guys again.

Where was jamesb??? ;)

It does ok for a stock suspension car.

My trusty 4 year old starter decided it didn't want to turn the motor over after I shut it off on the scales and couldn't make the next round call.
Such is racin..

Nathan is a funny guy! I believe that is who you mean correct me if I am wrong please!

But you are more then welcome to try I can only go as fast as the combo will allow so if your faster when you get her running all I can do is change something and try to get more! hehe Nothing like some fun competition to make you work harder!
